Who’s Maurice?
Maurice grew up on a boat sailing around the world. He didn’t have much say in the matter: he was 5 years old at the time.
After that, he started doing the things that would be considered normal by most folks: Went to school, learned to ride a bike, got a degree in Japanese History, sailed around the world again for 2 1/2 years, got a job at the world’s top industrial design firm, moved to Manhattan to run a studio and lose some of that “California softness”, moved back to the Silicon Valley (kept some of the NYC edge), did tech marketing and design, sailed around the world a 3rd time (with a family of his own this time), was awarded some medals for bravery, came back to the Silicon Valley and did groundbreaking research in AI and robotics, moved to Barcelona to work on moonshots for 3 years, and then came back to California to share what he’d learned about AI, emerging technology, and disruptive innovation with companies, leaders, and audiences around the world. He’d be thrilled to learn more about what you do and how he might lend a hand.
